Thank You Friends of Timothy's Pub
Thank you to everyone who came out in support of the YWCA Women's Transitional Living Program and donated so generously to the cause through giving food, cash and gift cards as well as toys for children.
I was greeted by Andrea at the door who helped me fill this entire bin with your wonderful donations. Along with the that, the cash total was $330.61 and the gift cards were $400.
A BIG thanks also goes out to our musical guests Krista Blondin, Johnny Max, Walter E. Lee and John Johnson. These artists donated their time to help the night such a great success! I'm honoured and proud to know them as both musicians and as cherished friends. The Sunday Sinners, featuring Matt Horner, Charlie Cooley and Gene Hardy rocked the stage every step of the way!! As usual.
And... if the music wasn't enough we got a visit from our other friend Santa Claus!!
Lastly, the night doesn't happen without a venue. Tim Brem (better known as Timothy of Timothy's Pub) knows how to make the band feel special and the room buzz. Before we got started the pub made their own $12200 donation to the local Salvation Army. It never ceases to amaze me how truly generous the patrons of this room are not to mention my fans who came out and made their own contribution.
Oh Ya!! And the staff at Timothy's are always doing a great job and yesterday was no exception. Thank you, girls!!
The Sunday Sinners will be back at Timothy's on Jan. 21 to start our 2018 run of every 3rd Sunday of the month!
So I'll be on a short hiatus for the rest of 2017! I need it. I'm looking forward to more Sunday Sinners, more Tom Jones, more guest spots and who knows what else!!!
Have a super holiday and best wishes for a healthy and happy 2018.
Peace!
