Heading into the end of 2021!
The past few weeks have zoomed by. Ironically, that’s the same time that my Zoom meetings have essentially ceased!!
More live and in-person gigs, along with the return to my school board work has meant several full days of keeping busy all around!!
The Theodore Horner Combo – THC, featuring Matt Horner, started a new residency at Orwell’s Pub, every Sunday from 1-4pm, which is quickly turning into the place to be for a late brunch or early dinner. Matt and I have been so fortunate to have met so many great people at the pub and have been welcomed with wide open hearts! We love playing there!
Meanwhile, The Sunday Sinners, with John Johnson, are making their official return to Timothy’s Pub on Sunday, Nov. 21 from 5-9pm. Charlie Cooley, Matt Horner, Gene Hardy and I will be back on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Timothy’s will also host my annual food drive continues on Dec. 19. Once again the evening will feature special guests to help make the night memorable.
The 2nd Saturday of every month finds me back at The Carrigan Arms with a stellar band!! Matt Horner, Dave Russell, Tom Griffiths and Gene Hardy join me for an afternoon of pure rockin’, random fun! The band performs 3 sets between 3-6pm and reservations are always recommended. Our return on Nov. 13 was a highlight of the past year for me. Be sure to come and share the experience with us.
Merk Snack Bar, the wonderfully quaint and cozy Hamilton spot frequented by my Jackie and I, continues to be my place for Solo Acoustic Mayhem on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Merk not only features a diverse and unique Tapas menu but also serves up tasty, creative cocktails and awesome craft ‘n draft beers!!
On Sunday, Nov. 28, from 4:45-6pm, I’ll be performing at The Village Square in Streetsville as part of the Christmas in the Village festivities taking place all weekend long!! Should be a great family time!
Speaking of Family time...on Dec. 4, I’ll be Old St. Nick on Ottawa Street in Hamilton from 11-5pm. Yes, that’s right...Santa!! If you don’t believe me, you’ll have to come see!
For the folks who like heading a bit North. The Freakin’ Band, featuring Virgil Scott, has returned to The Beacon in Wasaga Beach, and I’ll be the special guest on Wed. Dec. 8. You will absolutely need reservations for this one.
Showtime is 7ish! $10 cover – always a blast!
Finally, my latest release, Sweet Life EP, featuring 3 new songs, continues to be available on Bandcamp and is being performed regularly during concerts and shows. To stream or purchase these new tunes
